U.N. Declares Nov. 18 World Day Aimed at Child Sexual Abuse Prevention
The United Nations has declared Nov. 18 as the World Day for the Prevention of and Healing from Child Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Violence. The resolution, which was co-sponsored by more than 120 countries, was adopted with loud applause.

Saprea Invites People to ‘Do Good’ on Giving Tuesday
One in five children across the U.S. is sexually abused before the age of 18. This Giving Tuesday on Nov. 29, Saprea invites the public to “do good” by making a donation that will go directly to services and resources that assist survivors with healing and parents with prevention.

Saprea and Accion Interna Bring Support Groups to Colombia Prisons
Saprea has formed a formal partnership with Accion Interna Foundation in Bogota, Colombia, to expand the prison support group program to incarcerated female survivors of child sexual abuse. This is the first Saprea prison support program to be implemented outside of the U.S.

Saprea Awarded Inaugural National Grant from Stand Together Foundation
Saprea is one of 25 nonprofits nationwide to receive an inaugural Catalyst impact grant from the Stand Together Foundation. Saprea is the only Utah nonprofit that will receive $300,000 over the next three years to grow its impact and awareness around the issue of child sexual abuse.
