International Saprea Gala to be held Feb. 18 at Atlanta Braves Stadium

Saprea is honored to announce its 2023 International Saprea Gala will be held at the Atlanta Braves Stadium, Truist Park, on Feb. 18 in Atlanta. The annual event raises critical funds for the nonprofit to support awareness, prevention, education, and healing resources for survivors of child sexual abuse.

Emmy award-winning and Oscar-nominated producer Pat Mitchell is serving as the honoree of this prestigious event. “We are living in dangerous times for women and girls,” said Mitchell. “And the first steps to change this reality is to speak the truth even when silence is a safer option; to speak out against injustice when we experience it or witness it; to stand up for those who aren’t represented and cannot speak for themselves, and to show up for each other.” Mitchell went on, “This is how healing begins, and this is what becoming dangerous means to me — being willing to take the risks to change lives."

More than 200 guests will enjoy exclusive live and silent auction items including beach getaways, celebrity outings, custom celebrity jewelry, and a two-night stay in a mountain treehouse. After the auction, dancing will commence to live music performed by The Regulators, and a performance by Irina Burdetsky, international award-winning Hula Hoop Artist. Guests will also have photo opportunities with the Atlanta Braves World Series trophy.

Saprea provides free healing retreats, healing webinars, survivor online resources, support groups, and prevention resources. One hundred percent of all donations go directly towards funding these programs and services and ensuring they are made available to the survivors, parents, and caregivers who need them most.
