Saprea Hosts “Evening of Gratitude” to Honor Donors Advancing the Mission to End Child Sexual Abuse

Lehi, Utah— Saprea hosted an Evening of Gratitude at its headquarters, bringing together some of the organization’s most dedicated supporters to recognize their generosity and the vital role they play in advancing Saprea’s mission to liberate individuals and society from child sexual abuse and its lasting impacts.

The evening was a heartfelt celebration of impact, connection, and shared purpose. Guests gathered for an intimate dinner followed by a meaningful question-and-answer session with Saprea’s leadership, offering insight into the organization’s ongoing efforts in prevention and survivor healing.

The program featured a distinguished panel of speakers, including Ally Isom of Clyde Companies, Elizabeth Mumford of Bertin Family Foundation, and Amy Rees Anderson of REES Capitol—each of whom shared a perspective on philanthropy, leadership, and the importance of investing in solutions that create lasting societal change.

A powerful highlight of the evening was a survivor story shared by Amber Washington. Her courage and vulnerability underscored the importance of Saprea’s work and the real, human impact made possible through donor support.

“This evening was an opportunity to express our deepest gratitude,” said Matt Hartvigsen, Executive Director of Saprea. “Our donors are not just supporters—they are partners in this mission. Because of them, survivors are finding healing, and communities are gathering the tools to prevent abuse before it happens.”

Saprea provides a range of free, research-informed resources, including healing retreats, online educational materials, and community-based prevention programs. The generosity of its donors makes these services accessible to survivors and families around the world at no cost.

The Evening of Gratitude served as both a celebration and a reminder: meaningful change is only possible through collective action. Saprea looks forward to continuing this critical work alongside its community of supporters.
