Saprea Launches New Child-on-Child Sexual Abuse Resource Hub to Help Parents and Caregivers Navigate a Complex Topic

Saprea has launched a new Child-on-Child Sexual Abuse (COCSA) resource hub designed to help parents and caregivers better understand, respond to, and help prevent child-on-child sexual abuse.

Understanding child-on-child sexual abuse can be overwhelming, especially when families are looking for answers in a difficult moment. That's why Saprea has launched a new resource hub that provides research-informed guidance to help adults better understand, respond to, and help prevent child-on-child sexual abuse.

As part of the launch, Saprea also introduced a companion resource, Typical vs. Problematic Sexual Behaviors in Children: A Guide to Healthy Sexual Development. The guide helps parents recognize the difference between age-appropriate and concerning sexual behaviors and offers practical advice for responding with confidence and care.
“Parents want to protect their children, and trusted information is one of the most powerful tools we can provide.”

“Parents want to protect their children, and trusted information is one of the most powerful tools we can provide,” said Matt Hartvigsen, Executive Director for Saprea. “These resources are designed to help families navigate difficult situations with greater understanding while creating safer environments for children.”
Both resources are available free of charge through Saprea’s website, made possible by the generosity of donors who help expand access to research-informed resources for families around the world.
