National Retailer Kendra Scott Celebrating Saprea’s Rebrand with Online Promotion

Fashion accessory retailer Kendra Scott is celebrating Saprea’s rebrand by giving back to the nonprofit and supporting its mission to liberate society from child sexual abuse and its lasting impacts. Starting at midnight on Feb. 8, Kendra Scott is donating 20% of proceeds to Saprea.

The “Give Back to Saprea” campaign kicks off for 48 hours and ends at midnight on Feb. 9. “We make a choice to see the good in every day – in the mirror, in each other, and in our communities. When we see the good that’s possible, together, we can create it,” said Kendra Scott, who founded the company 20 years ago.

Supporters must mention Saprea upon checkout at Kendra Scott Avalon (located in Alpharetta, Georgia), or shop online at kendrascott.com using code GIVEBACK-SAPREA at checkout to donate 20% of proceeds back.

One in five children nationwide will be sexually abused before the age of 18. Saprea, formerly The Younique Foundation, announced its rebrand on Feb. 7 in hopes of “reaching more survivors, more parents, more partners, and more communities” globally, said Founder and Board Chair Shelaine Maxfield.

“We feel an overwhelming responsibility to improve the world in which we live. We know we cannot rely on a few to shoulder that entire responsibility,” said Maxfield. “This is a worldwide issue. We all must give our very best efforts to make a difference and end the suffering that is happening every day.”

The nonprofit provides healing educational retreats in Utah and Georgia, survivor-led support groups around the world, and online healing resources for any survivor, regardless of gender. It also offers free online prevention resources and community education courses/materials for parents and caregivers to reduce the risk of abuse from occurring in their families and neighborhoods.

Kendra Scott accessories are inspired by her personal experiences, travel, and sense of community. There are more than 100 standalone stores across the U.S. The brand is sold in premiere retailers including Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, and 600 specialty boutiques online. As the brand continue to grow, the company remains true to its founding philosophy of "Family, Fashion, Philanthropy." Since 2010, the company has given more than $40 million to local, national, and international causes.
