Jewelry Designer to Showcase Collection Benefitting Saprea
The International Women’s Day Celebration Summit, hosted by the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Atlanta on March 8, will showcase a jewelry collection, Empower, by designer Evelyn Sadovsky. Saprea will receive 25 percent of the proceeds from the collection.
“I am delighted to announce that Evelyn Sadovsky, custom jewelry designer, will be one of our featured guests at the 7th Annual International Women's Day Summit. Ms. Sadovsky is a true master of the arts in creating custom jewelry,” said Jill Goodrich, president, founder, and CEO of the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Atlanta.
More than 200 women from the Atlanta area will attend the summit that will celebrate women’s empowerment centered on “Embrace Equity.” Special guests will include the Consulate Generals of Canada, Belgium, Ireland, Mexico, and the Netherlands. Workshops will focus on entrepreneurship, leadership development, workplace wellness, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Saprea, the partner of choice for the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Atlanta, is a nonprofit that provides in-person and online healing resources for women who have been sexually abused as children. One in four women in the United States is a survivor of child sexual abuse.
“This new Saprea Collection is all about inspiring healing and hope in the lives of women suffering from the trauma of being sexually abused as children,” said Sadovsky. “My jewelry isn’t just about how a piece looks on a woman; it’s about how a woman feels when she puts it on. I have researched the choice of stones believed to aid in healing and incorporated several unique stones to add meaning of each piece. We must talk openly about this global issue to bring about societal change. I am so honored to design this exclusive collection supporting Saprea’s work to free women from this trauma and give them a hopeful future.”
