How to Host a
Hosting a Kintsugi Workshop Fundraiser is a great way to bring members of your community together and raise funds. While you get the opportunity to experience a portion of what survivors learn at the Saprea Retreat, you are also supporting survivors in their healing journey. Thank you for supporting Saprea’s mission to liberate individuals and society from child sexual abuse and its lasting impacts.
Below is a step-by-step guide to hosting your Kintsugi Workshop Fundraiser as well as links to all the materials you will need for your event.
Decide on the date, the place, and the time.
Find a day and time that works for your group, as well as a location that will fit the size of your group with tables and chairs.
Set Your Fundraising Goal.
Setting a fundraising goal will help you determine how many people to invite and how much to ask each participant to donate.
Create invitations and send them out.
Below you will find an email invitation template, social media graphics, and sample messaging to help promote your fundraising event.
Total your RSVP numbers and order the Kintsugi supplies.
The average cost of supplies for one person is about $6.00–$7.00.

Christa’s Story with Kintsugi
Christa had an assignment for one of her graduate school classes and decided to put together a kintsugi night to raise money for Saprea. She wasn’t sure how much interest there would be, but the event sold out and it was a huge success! Over 75 attendees learned about the healing power of kintsugi, had a fun and memorable night, and raised over $2,000 for the fight against child sexual abuse.
