Alpharetta, GA – In an effort to fight the issue of child sexual abuse within Georgia communities, the nonprofit Saprea joins together with key community organizations to host the Symposium on Effecting Societal Change for Child Sexual Abuse on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Wellstar Community Room in Alpharetta, GA.

This pivotal event is a collaborative effort with Saprea, Atlanta Area Council, Children’s Advocacy Centers of Georgia, Georgia Center for Child Advocacy, Savvy Cyber Kids, and Wellspring Living. Together, these organizations aim to drive actionable solutions and foster meaningful change among Atlanta thought leaders, including elected officials, nonprofit leaders, business leaders, and academic researchers.

“The symposium is a vital platform for families, educators, and community members to come together, learn from experts, and discuss strategies for preventing and healing from child sexual abuse. By raising awareness on the issue, we can empower communities to better reduce the risk for future generations.”
