I Found My Voice Through Art, Poetry & Self-Belief
;
My breakthrough moment would be when I started to heal my childhood trauma. I started believing in myself and that I could have the life I had dreamed of. I looked into podcasts on mental health and listened to other survivors. When I was able to take the pain and go on a journey of understanding myself. I realized my trauma doesn’t define me. I realized that owning my truth through art and poetry was helping me heal, and in turn, I could help others on their path; I could light the way to help others own their truth and find their voice.
