INTRODUCING SAPREA
Saprea offers services that help survivors of child sexual abuse find healing from the traumatic effects that may have followed them into adulthood, as well as resources for parents and caregivers to learn how to lower the risk of child sexual abuse in their own homes and communities.
Saprea’s Mission
One in 5 children is sexually abused before age 18—that’s 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys. At Saprea, we seek to liberate individuals and society from child sexual abuse and its lasting impacts. To fulfill this mission, we offer resources that help parents reduce the risk of their children being impacted by sexual abuse. We also offer services to support survivors in their healing.
1 in 5 Children is Sexually Abused
Each year in the United States, there are more than 1 million children who are sexually abused. We can protect the children in our lives by raising awareness and educating parents and caregivers about this silent epidemic.
Learn more about the saprea retreat
Martha had written her suicide note before she decided to take one last chance at life by attending the Saprea Retreat. Our retreat is a free, clinically informed, four-day, in-person experience offered in Utah and Georgia for women who were sexually abused as children or teens. At the retreat, these survivors learn about the impacts of trauma, along with tools and strategies they can apply to their longterm healing. Watch Martha’s story here.
